So I have started a journey with Weight Watchers. I am excited about the upgrades to the program and feel like it has come so far since I did it over 15 years ago! I was working on a handy snack list for myself and figured I may as well share it with you! These 1 point Snack Ideas for Weight Watchers SmartPoints will hopefully help keep me on track to reaching my health goals.
1 Point Snack Ideas for Weight Watchers SmartPoints
2 ounces of sliced deli turkey
3 ounces of cooked shrimp
3 ounces of canned tuna (packed in water)
2 tablespoons of homemade guacamole
1 plain rice cake
1 lightly salted Quaker rice cake
1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
5 oyster crackers
1 slice Wasa whole grain crisp bread
2 tablespoons Fresh Gourmet Santa Fe Style Tortilla Strips (these are usually near the croutons and are tasty)
1 tablespoon sliced almonds, toasted
1 cup butter flavored popped popcorn
1 original Jack Links Premium Cut Beef Steak
1 single serve bag of Snyder’s of Hanover mini pretzels
1 Laughing Cow Cheese wedge: spicy pepper jack, creamy swiss light, light garlic and herb, white cheddar, Asiago
3 ounces of fully cooked chicken breast strips (my local stores carry these in Tyson and John Soules brands)
1 ounce natural Turkey Jerky
1 tablespoon humus
1 slice of 45 calorie bread
1/2 of a hard-boiled egg
1 Mini Babybel light semisoft cheese round
1 cup chicken, beef or vegetable broth
3 slices Canadian Bacon
14 pistachio nuts
1/4 cup low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
2 ounces sliced smoked salmon
1/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese
2 tablespoons black bean and corn salsa
1 slice of turkey bacon
1 popcorn cake plain or buttered
1 piece of hard candy
1 cup of puffed wheat cereal
1 gingersnap cookie (about a 1/4 ounce size)
2 tablespoons fat-free creamy salad dressing
1 fat-free hot dog
1 ice cream cone plain or sugar (not including the ice cream :))
4 large olives
1 cup of homemade egg drop soup
3 ounces of Tofu
7 fat-free croutons

The newest Weight Watchers Beyond the Scale program is a lot different from what I remember. I do love that fruits and many veggies are ZERO points. It is a lot harder to find 1 point snacks now and they have to be fairly high in protein to fall into that category.
Some of these snacks don’t really sound like snacks…but if you start with a 1 point snack and think about what you can pair it with…it becomes very doable!
Overall I think the focus on HEALTHY foods is great and definitely something I need. I know I can eat more if I am eating healthier options.
