Going to Disney World takes a lot of pre-planning! This post will tell you the best websites for planning a trip to Disney World! We have a trip planning in a few months and these are the sites that have made my life much easier!!
I love traveling and I actually love all the planning that goes into travel. The problem is that I just don't have as much time as I used to for all the detail planning! I want to get the most out of my vacation dollars and have always found that one of the best ways to do that is to plan ahead!
Luckily there are several websites that do a lot of this research for me! I wanted to share the best websites for planning a trip to Disney World and what they can do for you!
List of the Best Websites for Planning a Trip to Disney World
Disney World: Obviously Disney's own site is a wealth of information! They have a great section on Planning Your First Trip to Walt Disney World Resort. This is great for first timers…or people like me who haven't been for over 10 years! You can find out about all the basics on Disney's own site…ticket prices, park hours, events, frequently asked questions and much more! This is a great starting point!
Mousesavers: This website is amazing and has a ton of great information. They can walk you through how to plan your trip. I love the section that reviews hotels off property and they even offer discounts on a lot of those for people staying off property! They also cover other attractions in Florida, Disney Cruises, Disneyland and much more. This site is a must stop and will help answer a lot of questions!
Small World Vacations: if you are planning to stay on property, you really need to consider booking through Small World Vacations. You won't pay a penny more than if you book directly through Disney….and you may pay even LESS!! Once you have your reservations, they will monitor any new deals and if it is a deal that is during your stay…they will contact you so that your rates can be lowered! They also have a blog that has great articles on the current happenings at Disney!
Undercover Tourist: this is who I went through to buy our tickets for Disney World. The tickets are cheaper than through Disney and are authentic tickets that can still be added to your My Disney Experience and Magicbands. It is VERY hard to find discount Disney tickets…..this is one of the few places! It isn't a huge savings…but every little bit helps! Undercover Tourist also has a crowd calendar that is very helpful and easy to read. I printed these off to help me decide where we will go each day!
All Ears: This website just has a TON of information on it. There is a huge section on traveling with your family that I found very helpful. Basically any kind of information you would want about going to Disney World you can find on this site!
DIS Discussion Boards: sometimes you have a question you just can't find a good answer for….go to the discussion boards and ask the people who have been there and done that! These boards are easy to use and it is fun to read about other people's experiences!
Couponing to Disney: I have been reading Kristen's blog for YEARS! She has great tips for couponing and saving money. She also has a ton of information about planning a trip to Disney. If you go to her Disney World Training page you will see so much great information from someone who loves Disney and goes a LOT! Kristen is just so down to earth…I feel like I know her!
HomeAway: I have talked about HomeAway before on the blog and I used them again for our trip to Disney World. I was able to book a 2 BR 2 Bath unit at Bonnet Creek which is just outside the doors to Disney World for a great price….much less then if we stayed on property! The resort is AMAZING and we are really excited to not be cramped into a tiny hotel room! You can find some really good deals on HomeAway!
