WHEN IS TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK?
A weeklong event meant to honor educators from all around the world is known as Teacher Appreciation Week or National Teacher Appreciation Week. It is a celebration for all their work and the importance they bring to education and the whole society. An entire week is dedicated to the teachers to show how much we value what they do for the kids and of course the parents.
Year after year, it takes place during the first full week of May and offers a chance for pupils, their parents, and school administrators to express their gratitude for the hard work and lengthy hours many of them put in. Over the course of the week, many teachers receive thank you gifts and letters from their pupils, and schools hold celebrations and festivities to mark the occasion.
The celebration for this week varies yearly. This 2023, teacher appreciation week will begin on May 1 to May 5 in the US. The National Teacher Day will also be observed on the first Tuesday of the week of May which is May 5. Other countries also celebrate this great event on different months and days. Some even just honor National Teachers Day itself.
WHICH TEACHERS SHOULD YOU GIVE GIFTS TO?
There is really no limit to who you choose to give gifts too. It can be all the teachers in your school, even when the kids do not have classes with them. Or it can be just be your favorite teachers. But of course, the more gifts you give out, the merrier.
Some people also give gifts to someone they see as a teacher to them. Could be a home tutor, the kids' soccer coach, you can also give your mentor an appreciation gift, and even parents can be seen as a teacher too. Give gifts to people that teach because they truly deserve it.
