WHAT KIND OF STEAK CAN YOU COOK IN THE AIR FRYER?
There is really a lot of flexibility in what kind of steak you can cook in the air fryer. A lot of it will depend on what cuts of steak you and your family like best.
This recipe was made with ribeye steak and it turned out great.
Other steaks that work well in the air fryer are filet mignon, skirt steak, and strip steak.
I think the steak cooks better if it is not frozen when cooked. Another important tool to have around is a meat thermometer so you get the steak just how you like it!

HOW TO MAKE RIBEYE STEAK IN THE AIR FRYER
The less time I have to spend in the kitchen the happier I am. This recipe is so simple and easy it helps me get dinner on the table fast.
STEP ONE: SEASON STEAK
Start off by drizzling olive oil on both sides of the steaks. Rub the oil around so it is coating both sides of each steak.
Now go ahead and season both sides of each steak with the garlic powder and salt and pepper. You know how much salt and pepper you like to use!
Massage the seasonings into the steak.
STEP TWO: PREPARE BASKET
Go ahead and lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-aerosol olive oil spray.
Place the steaks in the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer you may have to cook each steak separately.
STEP THREE: COOK STEAK
Set the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
Cook for 6 minutes then flip the steak over using tongs and air fry for another 6 minutes.
Allow the steak to rest for 5 minutes. This time frame is for a medium steak (internal temp of 145 degrees F).
Remember to slice the steak against the grain and serve right away.
TIPS FOR PERFECT STEAK IN THE AIR FRYER
In order to get the best results for your steak it is best to use an instant-read thermometer to check the temperature of the steak.
The steak needs to be 125 degrees F for rare, 135 degrees F for medium-rare, and 150 degrees F for medium-well.
This recipe was made using a 3.7-quart air fryer.
