WHY EAT SPINACH?
Spinach is a vegetable that is related to beets and quinoa.
This veggie can be eaten fresh or cooked. It can also be frozen and is available canned. It is a very low-calorie food and is a big source of vitamins and minerals.
Spinach is high in vitamin A, C, B6, B9, E and K1. It also has folic acid, iron, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. These are a lot of great reasons to add some spinach to your diet.
I have been experimenting with adding spinach to lots of different recipes that don't actually call for spinach and the results have been great overall.
Adding even small amounts of spinach brings the nutrition level of the recipe up and many times it doesn't affect the taste. My kids haven't complained yet, LOL.
