Roasted Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or you could use 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. You need to clean your fresh green beans and cut the stems off.
  3. Next you will take a gallon size ziploc bag and put the olive oil and all the seasonings inside and make sure the seasonings mix into the oil nicely.
  4. Now put your green beans in the bag and zip it up. Move it around so that the green beans all get coated in the oil/seasoning mixture.
  5. Take a large baking sheet and cover with foil. I like to use nonstick foil!
  6. Dump your green beans onto the foil covered baking sheet and spread into a single layer.
  7. Bake for about 15-20 minutes and then stir with a spatula.
  8. Bake another 15-20 minutes or until they are browned to your satisfaction.
