Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 6 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 ½ teaspoons paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar and spices in a bowl, mixing well to combine.
  3. Place chicken in a baking dish, piercing both sides of each chicken breast with a fork several times.
  4. Pour sauce over chicken and then turn chicken over with thongs a few times to make sure to coat chicken with sauce.
  5. Bake chicken for 30 minutes, basting with sauce from pan every 10 minutes.
  6. Serve over rice (or cauliflower fried rice) or chill chicken breasts to slice and serve over chicken salads or in wraps.

Recipe Notes

There are 25 points if you ingested the entire bowl of teriyaki marinade. Since very little actually stays on the chicken...I usually count 2 points per chicken breast for the sauce for the blue and purple myWW plans. The green plan would be 4 points.

On the current Weight Watcher Program (2023), it is 2 points per chicken breast.
