Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Take the tails off of the 2 pounds of shrimp, and place them into a large bowl.
  2. Pour ⅔ cup of honey into the bowl with the shrimp.
  3. Add in ½ cup soy sauce to the bowl.
  4. Mix in 1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce.
  5. Grate the garlic cloves into the bowl and stir.
  6. Let the shrimp marinate for 30 minutes to 4 hours.
  7. Place 2 tablespoons of coconut oil (or any other cooking oil of your choice) into a large skillet over medium high heat.
  8. Add the shrimp into the skillet, and cook for a few minutes on each side until done. Try not to flip the shrimp back and forth between sides too often. This will allow it to get a nice sear on each side with the sugar from the glaze.
  9. Serve your shrimp over rice with a side vegetable of your choosing.

Recipe Notes

The Weight Watchers Freestyle SmartPoints for this recipe IF you eat EVERY bit of the glaze would be 15 points per serving. I don't think it is realistic because I never eat much of the glaze and not too much actually stays on the shrimp. I will be counting 5 Freestyle SmartPoints per serving...but it is up to you what you want to count!
