Ingredients

  • 16 oz Frozen or Fresh Okra sliced, ends trimmed
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
  • Olive Oil Spray non-aerosol

Instructions

  1. If you are using fresh okra you will start off by trimming off both ends and then slicing it into even pieces about 1 inch or so in length.
  2. Put the fresh or frozen okra pieces into a bowl. Remember if you use frozen okra you want unbreaded okra.
  3. Lightly spray the okra with olive oil spray. Toss the okra with the seasoned salt until nicely coated in oil and salt.

  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
  5. Place about 1/2 the okra into the basket and air fry at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes. Pause the air fryer every 5 minutes and shake the basket.
  6. Air fry until the okra has dried out and is starting to lightly brown and get crunchy. You can spray the okra again during the cooking process to add extra crunch.
  7. Frozen okra will take a little longer to cook in my experience. Repeat cooking process with the rest of the okra.

Recipe Notes

This is zero points for blue, green and purple myWW plans based on using 10 sprays of olive oil.

On the current WeightWatchers Program (2023) it is ZERO points.
