Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium high heat.

After beef is browned, add taco seasoning, black beans, minced garlic, diced green chilies, and ½ cup of enchilada sauce. Mix well and heat through.

Preheat oven to 350F.

Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Pour a 1/3 cup of the enchilada sauce into the bottom of the pan and spread around.

Arrange 3½ corn tortillas across the bottom of the pan to cover it as best as possible.

Spoon half of the prepared beef mixture on top of the tortilla layer.

Spoon half of the remaining enchilada sauce on top of the beef mixture.

Place the remaining 3½ corn tortillas on top of the layers.

Repeat the beef mixite layer followed by the final layer of the enchilada sauce.

Finally, sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top.

Bake at 350F for about 30 minutes.

Serve hot with salsa, sliced jalapenos and/or light sour cream.
