Crock Pot Hashbrown Casserole

This hashbrown casserole is an easy and delicious side dish that is made in the crock pot!

Ingredients

  • 26 oz shredded frozen hashbrowns
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 10.5 oz. cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder or 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix the sour cream, soup, onion, salt, pepper, butter and shredded cheese.
  2. Add in the hashbrowns and combine with liquid mixture.
  3. Spray crock pot with nonstick spray. Use at least a 4 quart crock pot or larger.
  4. Put hashbrown mixture into crock pot.
  5. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or until done.

Recipe Notes

The casserole will be crispy and browned on the sides and hot and bubbly in the middle. You can add more shredded cheese to the top about 20 minutes before it is done if you like lots of cheese.
