Bacon, Cheddar & Jalapeno Pinwheels

A pinwheel with a little bit of spice that doesn't disappoint!

  • 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese or other shredded varieties if you prefer
  • 2 Tablespoons diced Jalapenos
  • 1/3 Cup Real Bacon Pieces or approx 5 slices crisp bacon crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese at room temperature


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, bacon and jalapenos together.
  3. Roll out crescent rolls and press seams together to form one sheet.
  4. Put the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough almost to the very edge of the dough.
  5. Sprinkle all but about 2 Tablespoons of the shredded cheese on top of the cream cheese layer.
  6. Roll the dough up lengthwise.
  7. Cut into slices approximately 3/4" and place 2" apart on a cookie sheet lined with foil.
  8. Top with reserved shredded cheese.
  9. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until dough begins to brown.
  10. Let the pinwheels cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet.

Recipe Notes

If you use a stone cookie sheet I didn't feel the foil was necessary.
