Baked Loaf Sandwich

A great upgrade from basic sandwiches that is filling and will have your family asking for more!

  • One loaf of Italian Bread
  • 5 Ingredient Sandwich Spread
  • Slices of Mozzarella Cheese or any kind of cheese you prefer
  • Slices of Ham
  • Sliced Tomato
  • Banana Pepper Rings optional, but delish!


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. First you want to slice your loaf of Italian Bread. Do NOT slice through the loaf!! You need to cut almost through the loaf, but not quite...you want the bottom of the bread to still be attached. I tried to cut my slices about 1/2 inch thick or so.
  3. Next you will spread your 5 Ingredient Sandwich Spread on EVERY OTHER slice. You want to be able to cut the loaf and have a top and bottom part of your sandwich and it not be too messy!
  4. Now you will stuff your loaf with the ham and cheese slices, tomatoes and banana pepper rings. These will go inside the slices that have the sandwich spread on them.
  5. Wrap the whole loaf in foil.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  7. Take out of the foil and slice into sandwiches and serve with your favorite side dish!

Recipe Notes

The amount of slices will depend on how thick or thin you slice your bread! Plus you can double up on meat and cheese if you want!
