Soft Orange Slice Cookies

These retro orange slice cookies are soft and wonderful. They bring back memories of childhood! The pudding inside keeps them soft for days!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3.4 ounce package instant vanilla or orange flavored pudding
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup orange slice candy diced into small pieces
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine the flour and baking soda in a bowl and set aside for now.
  3. Now cream together the butter, brown sugar, pudding mix and white sugar in a large bowl.
  4. Beat the eggs and vanilla into the creamed mixture.
  5. Slowly add the flour mixture to your creamed mixture until well combined.
  6. Gently fold in the orange slice candy and the white chocolate chips.
  7. Roll into small balls with about 1 tablespoon of dough and drop onto a cookie sheet.

  8. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until top starts to brown.

Recipe Notes

This made about 3 dozen cookies for me. 

Serving size is 2 cookies.
