Instructions

  1. Dice the tilapia filets into bite-sized pieces and place in a large bowl.

  2. In a small bowl combine olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic powder, onion powder and ginger powder.
  3. Pour the marinade over the diced tilapia, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds and toss to combine.

  4. Refrigerate and let the tilapia marinate for 30 minutes.

  5. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray (non-aerosol).

  6. Place the marinated tilapia cubes in the air fryer basket and cook at 375°F for 9 minutes or until the tilapia is fully cooked.

  7. Sprinkle with more sesame seeds before serving, if desired.

  8. Assemble the fish cubes into salads or a bowl if desired.

Recipe Notes

Divide the tilapia into 2 equal portions. One portion is a serving.

On the current WeightWatchers Program (2023) it is 13 points per serving. NOW...this is counting using every drop of marinade. The tilapia marinates but then the marinade is tossed out. I would say this is actually more like 2 points per fillet.
