Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 package Hebrews 97% Fat Free Hot Dogs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine flour and yogurt in a bowl and stir to combine. You can also use a stand mixer with a meat hook to mix.
  3. Flour surface and hands and then divide the dough into 7 equal parts.
  4. Roll each section of dough into a long log.
  5. Wrap the dough around the hot dog.
  6. Crack the egg into a small bowl and beat it well.
  7. Brush egg wash on the dough before baking.
  8. Spray your baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  9. Place each dough wrapped hot dog on the baking sheet.
  10. Bake the wrapped hot dogs for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Recipe Notes

These are 2.7 Freestyle SmartPoints per dough wrapped hot dog. I like to just round up to 3 points each to accommodate the extra flour from the surface and hands!
