Cheesy Jalapeno Deviled Eggs

A fun and spicy version of classic deviled eggs!

  • 1 dozen large eggs hard boiled and peeled
  • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons diced pickled jalapenos (depending on how spicy you want them)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt optional--based on your taste preferences
  • 6 tablespoons finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese


  1. First you will take your hard cooked eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
  2. Now you will remove the yolks and put the yolks into a bowl.
  3. Mash the yolks up (I use a fork) and then add the other ingredients and mix well.
  4. Spoon or pipe the filling mixture into your egg halves. You can top with a little extra shredded cheese if desired.
  5. Keep refrigerated until ready to eat. Store any extras in the refrigerator.
