If you love deviled eggs and love to change things up in the kitchen….then this Cheesy Jalapeno Deviled Eggs recipe is perfect for you to try!
With Easter coming up fast I wanted to try out a spicier version of deviled eggs! If you follow my blog you will know that I love adding jalapeno to recipes! 😆 I figured that deviled eggs deserved a chance to be a little spicier!
I personally don't love making deviled eggs…I think they are a tad time consuming…but it is one of those side dishes that I really do LOVE to eat! Cheesy Jalapeno Deviled Eggs are definitely worth the time involved to make deviled eggs! This recipe doesn't take any longer than any other deviled egg recipe and they look so great in the cute little deviled egg trays!
Ingredients Needed for Cheesy Jalapeno Deviled Eggs
1 dozen large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 to 4 tablespoons diced, pickled jalapenos (depending on how spicy you want them)
1 tablespoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon salt (optional–based on your taste preferences)
6 tablespoons finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
How to Make Cheesy Jalapeno Deviled Eggs
First you will take your hard-cooked eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
Now you will remove the yolks and put the yolks into a bowl.
Mash the yolks up (I use a fork) and then add the other ingredients and mix well.
Spoon or pipe the filling mixture into your egg halves. You can top with a little extra shredded cheese if desired.
Keep refrigerated until ready to eat. Store any extras in the refrigerator.
