Hamburgers in the air fryer are delicious and will become a new favorite way to make a burger!

  • 1 lb. ground Beef
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper
  • 4 slices favorite Cheese
  • 4 Hamburger Buns
  • Lettuce to top, optional
  • Pickles to top, optional
  • Onions to top, optional
  • Tomatoes to top, optional


  1. Season the beef with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  2. Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
  4. Place the burger patties in a single layer.
  5. Air fry at 370F for 8 minutes. Flip and air fry again for 8 minutes.

  6. Add a slice of cheese on each burger patty and air fry again for 20 to 45 seconds, or until the cheese melts.
  7. Serve immediately on your favorite hamburger buns with your favorite fix ins.

Recipe Notes

According to the USDA, the minimum safe temperature for ground meat is 160F, or well done.
• The time in the above recipe is for a well-done burger. However, these are the time and temperature for different level of doneness.
a. Rare – 125F (total time 10 minutes)
b. Medium Rare – 135F (total time 12 minutes)
c. Medium – 155F (total time 14 minutes)
d. Well-done – 165F (total time 16 minutes)
