ARE HAMBURGERS IN THE AIR FRYER ANY GOOD?
Most people think that the only good burger is a grilled burger. I do agree that grilled hamburgers are good.
But keep an open mind because I really like my burgers in the air fryer now. They come out juicy inside and perfectly cooked.
The weather isn't always cooperative for outdoor cooking and now having a delicious burger doesn't have to wait for a nice day!

WHAT KIND OF MEAT SHOULD I USE?
This recipe is for basic beef hamburgers. You can definitely substitute a different kind of meat if you prefer.
I love turkey burgers or even burgers made with ground chicken.
Cook times should be similar, but keep an eye on the burgers and check for doneness with a meat thermometer.

INGREDIENTS FOR AIR FRYER HAMBURGERS
These hamburgers in the air fryer are perfectly seasoned and topped with cheese! Feel free to adjust the seasonings to your own taste buds.
- 1 lb. of ground Beef
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- 4 slices of favorite Cheese
- Hamburger Buns to Serve
- Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles, Onions for toppings

HOW TO MAKE HAMBURGERS IN THE AIR FRYER
The more you use the air fryer the more you will love it! These burgers don't take long and turn out wonderful. I love that all the extra grease is able to drain off the burgers!
STEP ONE: SEASON BEEF
Start off by seasoning the beef with the salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Don't overmix the meat or it will be tough.

STEP TWO: MAKE PATTIES
Divide the seasoned beef into four equal parts and form hamburger patties.

STEP THREE: AIR FRY
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray.
Place the burger patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry at 370°F for about 8 minutes. Flip the burgers and air fry for an additional 8 minutes.
If you want cheese on your burgers add a slice to each patty and air fry for 20 to 45 seconds or until the cheese melts.

STEP FOUR: ASSEMBLE BURGERS
When the burgers are done cooking add the toppings and buns and enjoy!

According to the USDA, the minimum safe temperature for ground meat is 160F, or well done.
• The time in the above recipe is for a well-done burger. However, these are the time and temperature for different level of doneness.
a. Rare – 125F (total time 10 minutes)
b. Medium Rare – 135F (total time 12 minutes)
c. Medium – 155F (total time 14 minutes)
d. Well-done – 165F (total time 16 minutes)
