Easy Breakfast Hack for Busy Moms
Who says you must have a hot, cooked breakfast? Most mornings I eat a bowl of cereal. The problem is that eating a bowl of cereal is a little time-consuming when I am crunched. It is also not something I can do on the way to work, LOL. I also don't like to eat cereal at my desk at work! 😆
My solution is to create CEREAL on the GO! It is so simple it is hard to call it a recipe….but I will share with you what I include. It is easy to customize to your own taste buds too! I usually just grab a cupful and eat it on the road to work or when I get there. I bring along a mug of milk to whet my whistle when I am done. I can make up a bag at the beginning of the week and I am set for breakfast.
Ingredients Needed for Cereal on the Go
1 cup of Post® Mom’s Best Honey Nut Toasty O's
1 cup of Post® Mom’s Best Honey Grahams
1/2 cup of granola
1/4 cup of dried fruit
Now all you do is combine the ingredients in a baggie and EAT!
Easy Breakfast Hack for the Whole Family
I know I talk about how this easy breakfast hack helps busy moms, but it is actually perfect for the whole family. I drive my youngest about 20 minutes to daycare and she can eat this cereal on the go easily in her car seat while we drive. It gives her a little more time to sleep in the morning on days she has to get up extra early because of my work schedule. This is a tasty breakfast mix and the whole family likes it.
My 10-year-old will take the breakfast mix and just eat it as cereal at the table before school. I love that she is getting a simple, delicious cereal that is full of nothing but honest-to-goodness ingredients. I personally love how the cereal has fiber to help keep me full until lunch.

I make make pancakes on the weekends and freeze the extras between sheets of wax paper. Microwave them for just a minute and top with syrup or Nutella and weekday breakfast is done in about 2 minutes! 🙂 if they’re lucky I’ll microwave a cocouple pieces of bacon too ?
I have done that before too and it saves so much time! Thanks for sharing the info!!
