I received compensation from Bayer Consumer Health, makers of MiraLAX® to write this post. MiraLAX® is a laxative used to treat occasional constipation. All opinions are entirely my own. #ReLAXOnTheGo #CollectiveBias

The Little Travel Problem No One Wants To Talk About
I am going to be open and honest here. Traveling is a passion of mine and I am very lucky to be able to do quite a bit of it. One of the hardest parts of travel for me is the occasional constipation that typically happens.
Thankfully, I have found some simple solutions that are working! 🙂
Drinking More Water
It may sound cliché, but drinking more water really does help me with occasional constipation. When I travel and go out to eat I tend to order anything but water. Dining out is a special occasion and I want something special to drink.
These special beverages are not helping my occasional constipation issue at all. I have learned that I need to order water and as a bonus my check will be less! I also try to carry around a water bottle as we sight see so I have some added hydration.
MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax®
MiraLAX® has been a go to product to help with my occasional constipation. Recently I found out about the MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax® while I was shopping at Target and I was pretty excited.
My suitcase is usually crammed full and the suitcase weight is always on my mind. These MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax are space-saving and easy to carry with me in my purse.
I love how MiraLAX® works with my body’s natural process to provide the effective relief from occasional constipation that I need when I travel.
It is different from stimulant laxatives that forcefully stimulate the nerves in my colon. MiraLAX® works with the water in my body to hydrate, soften, and ease, unblocking my system naturally. Remember, use as directed.
Don't Skip the Veggies
I have started trying hard to choose fiber filled veggies as my side dish when I am dining out on vacation. My cravings might want french fries, but my gut says I need that steamed broccoli instead!
The good news is that I am helping my occasional constipation and making a healthier food choice too.
Stay Active When Traveling
It is usually pretty easy for me to stay active when I am traveling. I love to cram as much into each trip as I can. This leads to a LOT of walking and maybe even hiking or swimming.
If you are going on a more sedentary trip then I would suggest hitting the hotel's fitness center or going for a jog or walk before you start your day.
Being active seems to help my occasional constipation.
Have You Had Issues With This Little Travel Problem?
I know I am not alone in this little travel problem! Have you had problems before? You can find your nearest Target HERE and grab some MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax to take along on your next trip! Let me know where you are heading next. We are heading out on an Alaskan Cruise next month and I am beyond excited!!
