These are my 5 favorite homemade seasoning mixes to keep on hand at all times! I make up a large quantity of each and I am ready for easy meals in minutes! You can see how I store my homemade spices HERE. Enjoy!
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper you can use less if you want less kick
- 2 teaspoon paprika
- 3 teaspoon salt

Mix the spices together.

Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

The above ingredient amounts make enough spice mix to cover a 6-7 pound whole chicken.
When I make this spice mix I make 8 times the amount listed above. This will yield around 2 cups of spice mixture. That way I won't have to make it up but every few months!
If you don't have white pepper, just use more black pepper!

This Italian Seasoning Mix is great as a dressing, for roasting veggies or even in pasta dishes!
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 2 Tbsp oregano ground or leaves
- 1 Tbsp dried parsley
- 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp salt or salt substitute
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon basil ground or leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme ground or leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon dried celery leaves or flakes

Mix all ingredients together.

Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

This taco seasoning works so well for seasoning ground beef, ground pork, ground turkey and even ground chicken!
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt or salt substitute
- 1 teaspoon black pepper

Mix all ingredients together.

Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
2 Rounded Tablespoons is about equal to a packet of store bought taco seasoning.
If you double this recipe it makes about 1 3/4 cup of taco seasoning.
To increase the heat factor add 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes or 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper.

This easy Fajita Seasoning Mix makes the best fajitas. The flavor is amazing!
- 1 Tbsp corn starch
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt or salt substititute
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin

Mix all ingredients together.

If you quadruple this recipe it will be about 1 3/4 cups of fajita seasoning mix.

I love this sweet and spicy dry rub seasoning mix! It works great for any kind of meat.
- 8 Tbsp light brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp salt or salt substitute
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
