I have to postpone the last 2 days of my Six Sweets in Six Days series…..yesterday I was just about to get started making the Soft Ginger Cookies when my toddler decided to accidentally poke me in the eye….this wasn’t your usual little poke…it was a poke that sent me screaming and literally crying all over the house! After an hour of no relief I knew I was going to have to go have my eye looked at. Long story short…I have a big fingernail scratch on my eye….my eye Dr. put some numbing drops in my eye and then put a contact in that eye. The contact is supposed to act like a band-aid. It helps, but I have been in a lot of pain. Cookie making just wasn’t in the cards….
So, I will postpone until next week….hope everyone else’s plans go according to schedule!
