We moved into a new home recently. The former owners apparently loved stickers! They also loved to put the stickers all over the place…especially on the doors in the home! I knew one of my first goals was going to be removing the sticker residue from the doors and mirrors around the house! I am going to show you an easy way to remove sticker residue from places it doesn't belong!!
Why Do Kids Put Stickers Everywhere?
I am not judging the former owners AT ALL. My kids have snuck around when my back was turned and put stickers all over the place too! I believe that removing sticker residue is just another part of parenting, LOL! 😆
I have tried different ways to remove sticker residue before that only worked so-so. I am excited to say that I have found a super easy solution for sticker residue now.
Easy Way to Remove Sticker Residue
I was out shopping and decided to try some Goo Gone Spray Gel. I have used Goo Gone for years in my craft room in scrapbooking, but had never tried the spray gel.
The Goo Gone Spray Gel is perfect for my problem…which is vertical!! The gel clings to the sticker residue so well and makes clean up a breeze.
All I have to do is wipe the residue away with a clean cloth and VIOLA…done! That is the way to get it done fast moms!! I found that it worked best to let the gel sit for a few minutes to really penetrate the sticker residue! This made wiping clean easier!
I also found some stickers on a mirror in one bathroom and the Goo Gone Spray Gel worked its magic there too. You can watch the magic happen in my video below!

Be sure to check out Goo Gone's website to see all their great products and how much easier they will make your life! I am just showing you ONE way that Goo Gone has quickened my housekeeping…but there are lots of areas it can work!
Have your children ever put stickers somewhere besides on paper?? What are your best housekeeping tips? Have you tried Goo Gone Spray Gel? Do you agree that this is the easy way to remove sticker residue?
*Remember to read the bottle and do not use on silk, leather, suede, rubber, faux stainless steel, drywall, unfinished wood surfaces and unsealed stone.
