I am still excited that the town I shop in got an Aldi a few months ago! I have been shopping sporadically at Aldi for years, but it was out-of-the-way and very inconvenient based on where I live….but now that has changed and I am pumped! I wanted to let you know about my favorite foods to buy at Aldi that you may be missing!!
Since I have gotten back into the swing of shopping at Aldi I have found some really great products that I had never noticed before. I am not sure if these are newer products or if I just overlooked them….but I wanted to share my list of favorites!

My Favorite Foods to Buy at Aldi That You May Be Missing
Mama Cozzi's Cheese Garlic Bread
What can I say? My family likes bread….okay…we actually love bread. We definitely cannot eat an Italian inspired meal without some kind of garlic bread. In the past we had bought New York's brand Cheesy Garlic Bread…to the tune of about $3.50 per box. I decided to try out the Aldi brand and guess what….we LOVE it! I think it actually has MORE cheese on it then the name brand!
Fit and Active Multigrain 45 Calorie Bread
I have always wanted to buy the 45 calorie breads that the big stores sell…but honestly…I am just too cheap to pay $3-4 dollars a loaf for bread…so I have never bought it. I was THRILLED to see that Aldi carried a 45 calorie bread…for under $1.50 per loaf. I have even found it for less than $1.00 per loaf sometimes!! Guess what…I can eat more bread now!!
Happy Farms String Cheese
My kids like cheesesticks………and we go through a LOT of them! I think the cheese sticks at Aldi are just as good as any name brand and the price is so much better! Now I don't have to ration them out!
Friendly Farms Milk
If I admit that our family of 6 goes through at least 3 gallons of milk PER WEEK…will you judge us? I am saving a LOT of money buying our milk at Aldi now. I honestly cannot tell a difference in the taste or quality either.
Tuscan Garden Cheese Garlic Croutons
We like to eat big salads at least once per week at our house….you can read more about that here to find out why. We love to add lots of fun stuff to our salads and croutons are a must (because hey…we love bread…even crunchy bread, lol)! The kids and I also like to just sit around snacking on croutons! One bag can equal one snack…basically we eat a lot of croutons! The Aldi croutons are delish and crunchy…and only $0.89 per bag! 🙂 I buy at least 4 bags every shopping trip!
Simple Nature Kids Squeezeable Fruit Pouches
My toddler loves applesauce pouches and I also send them in my other daughter's school lunch a lot. Even with coupons I would have trouble finding good deals on applesauce pouches….I was thrilled to see that Aldi has a good variety of flavors…they taste great and are priced low everyday!
Fit and Active Protein Energy Bars
My two older kids like to eat protein meal replacement bars. Have you priced these bars in regular stores…crazy expensive! I couldn't believe my luck when I saw that Aldi carried several varieties of protein bars. I bought some and had my kids try them out…they love them and I love the price!
Clancy's Baked Southwest Ranch Chips
I love baked chips and when I tried the Clancy's Baked Southwest Ranch Chips I was delighted that they taste so good! I love the Southwest Ranch flavor on the chips and the fact that they are lower calorie than regular chips makes my scale happy! Plus…baked chips at the grocery store rarely go on sale…and these are a great price all the time!
Clancy's Pretzel Slims
Do you love the awesome crunch of a pretzel chip? Well, I do….and these are just as good as the name brand version! These are such a crunchy little treat!
Millville Granola Bars
My kids do love eating granola bars. Aldi has a great selection of flavors for granola bars and we have been really pleased with the quality!
Honestly, the list of great products that you can find at Aldi could go on and on…I have been impressed with so many things I have bought there! Now that I have shared my favorite foods to buy at Aldi, I would love to hear what your FAVORITE item to buy at Aldi is and why!
