What shouts summer like seashells? I have a teensy, tiny obsession with shells (and buttons, LOL) and really that is the only reason I go to a beach! Summer can bring challenges to keeping kids busy and every little activity can help. My kids love to play tic tac toe and I thought it would be even more fun to play with seashells. Here is a free printable seashell tic tac toe game your kids can play too!
Seashell Tic Tac Toe
Instead of writing X's and O's on the card….my kids love to use actual shells to mark their moves. They will each use a different type of shell so they can tell which player is which.
Seashell Tic Tac Toe is also a great game idea for a Luau or beach themed party.
If you don't have thousands of shells at your house to use as markers it is quick and easy to order some from Amazon. We like to use 2 distinct shells so the kids don't get confused. Here are some great options that won't break the bank! My kids do love the colored shells and they will play with them later too.

This free printable Seashell Tic Tac Toe game is best printed on white cardstock if you want to reuse them. These print off 4 to a page so it saves you some ink. If your kids prefer to just write X's and O's then you can print it on regular copy paper since they will be thrown away afterwards.
