Here is a Swiffer Wet Jet Reusable Pad Solution that will save you money! I love my Swiffer Wet Jet for cleaning my laminate floors, but I truly hate to pay for those expensive pad refills! They cost a lot and as often as I use my Swiffer….I would be buying them every couple of weeks.
When I got the Swiffer I bought one reusable pad that I can throw in the washer, but it has been a big issue because it is always dirty when I need to use it! I was sitting at home the other day thinking about my need to get a few more of those reusable pads when I looked down at my feet. I had on a pair of long fuzzy socks. I have a bunch of these socks and some are getting pretty worn out.
I decided to see if the sock would fit onto my Swiffer. It did fit on the Swiffer. I found a Swiffer Wet Jet Reusable Pad Solution just by looking at my fuzzy sock covered feet! Isn't it funny the simple things we can find around the house to solve problems.
How to Find a Swiffer Wet Jet Reusable Pad Solution at Home
I took a pair of fuzzy socks that had seen better days….I will just put the sock onto the Swiffer, clean my floor and then toss the sock into the dirty clothes. You can wash these countless times before they will wear out!
I didn't try it, but I think an old tube sock would work as well. I have seen tutorials for sewing your own reusable pads, but that is more work than I want to put in!
This is easy and will help me keep my floors clean!!
Do you use a Swiffer Wet Jet? Do you buy refills or use some kind of reusable pads?

Lol, I would’ve never thought to use my socks. Great use!
I don’t have the Wet Jet, but I do have a regular Swiffer. I bought microfiber cloths to put on it, and it just goes right in the washer when I’m done. =)
Great tip! I’ll share with my mom who has the wet jet. Thanks for sharing your tip at Inspire Me Mondays!
