There is never a bad time of year for a refreshing beverage. I will admit that my favorite time for a special drink is definitely SUMMER! There is just something about sitting on the deck with a fun drink that makes me smile. I have fallen in love with Torani syrups and have been making all sorts of delicious drinks. My latest creation is one of my favorites. Who wouldn't love a Raspberry Peach Refresher?

Raspberry Peach Refresher

I saw a great selection of Torani Syrups when I was shopping at Dillons and realized that there were a lot of things I could use these syrups for besides putting them in coffee. This trip I bought the Torani Raspberry Syrup, Torani Peach Syrup and the Torani Sugar Free Salted Caramel Syrup.

where to buy Torani syrup

I am amazed by how many different recipes I can make with just ONE flavor. The fact that Torani Syrups are made with real, simple ingredients like pure cane sugar and natural flavors also makes me one happy girl.

Did I mention that it doesn't take very much syrup to transform a drink? That makes these syrups last a long time and go a long way…very budget friendly!

How to Make a Raspberry Peach Refresher

The best thing about Torani Syrups (besides the amazing flavors) is that they make it SO easy to make a fun beverage. Anyone can do it and you can be as creative as you want to be. I like to make non-alcoholic drinks my whole family can enjoy, but these also work great in alcoholic beverages.

how to make a refresher drink

This recipe is for one 8 ounce glass, but you can double, quadruple, etc the recipe to make enough for a crowd. Easy Peasy.

The night before or at least a few hours before I make the drinks I make some raspberry ice cubes! I don't want my drink watered down so I use either lemonade or lemon-lime pop in the ice cubes instead of water. Just place some fresh raspberries in the ice-cube tray and fill with your choice of liquid. Place in freezer until frozen.

If you don't want to hassle making raspberry ice cubes then it is fun to take a skewer and put some raspberries on the skewer to place in the drink at the end!

Next grab a tall glass and fill with the raspberry ice cubes.

Pour in 1/2 cup of lemonade.

Then add 1 tablespoon of Torani Raspberry Syrup and 1 tablespoon of Torani Peach Syrup. Stir to combine the flavors.

Last add in 1/2 cup of a lemon-lime pop or soda drink. This gives the fizz you want to have in a refresher.

When you have 3 children still at home we have plenty of activities going on. Personally, I love when we have quiet evenings at home. Our deck is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a little bit of peace and quiet.

Some evenings we will all go out during dusk and sip our Raspberry Peach Refreshers and just read. It is a good way to encourage our kids to read with us as a family.
