Do you ever have trouble finding dinner recipes that your kids will absolutely love? It can be a challenge in my house for sure and I know other parents have the same issues. Well this is a recipe for taco spaghetti that kids will love! I think it will be a family favorite.
Taco Spaghetti That Kids Will Love
You will rarely see any complex recipes on my blog. I am a lover of shortcuts in the kitchen and quick easy meals. This taco spaghetti is very easy to make and is even something kids may want to help you cook. Did I mention this is a ONE POT MEAL?? 😆
How to Make Taco Spaghetti
First grab a large stock pot or dutch oven
.
Heat the olive oil in the pot over medium high heat.
Now add the ground beef and brown it all and make sure it is nice and crumbly.
Stir in the taco seasoning.
It is time to add in the drained diced tomatoes and green chilies, tomato paste, spaghetti noodles and water.
Bring this mixture to a boil and cook until the spaghetti is done typically 9-11 minutes. Check your spaghetti package for exact cooking time for that brand.
Go ahead and remove the pot from the heat.
Top the mixture with cheese and cover the pot until the cheese melts.
You can serve this with some diced tomatoes and chopped cilantro if desired. Some of my kids wouldn't like this part though, LOL!
What Do Your Kids Love?
What are some of your favorite family recipes that everyone likes? Surprisingly enough one recipe that always gets my family excited is this simple Broccoli Cheese Soup recipe–we LOVE it! Easy Stuffed Shells is another hit, but takes me a little longer to make so we don't have it quite as often.
