These Valentine Pretzels are the easiest treat to make! The great part is that they look so pretty…no one will realize how little time and effort they took to make!
I love sweet coated pretzels…that combination of salty and sweet just hits the spot. I chose to get the jumbo pretzels so that they would be easy to handle and they really look a lot like hearts!
These Valentine Pretzels only requires 3 ingredients….pretzels, candy melts and sprinkles! It doesn't get easier than that!
How to Make Valentine Pretzels
Step One….you will need to melt your candy melts. You can also use white almond bark. That is actually what I used for the ones in this picture. I had some extra from Christmas cooking. Normally I would use Wilton's Candy Melts and they come in so many great colors…you could do some pink and some red pretzels in addition to the white ones! I just melt mine in the microwave according to the package directions. Decide how many pretzels you are making and adjust the amount of candy you melt.
Step Two….I held the pretzel from the back side…so that I put the front of the pretzel down into the melted candy. I did NOT coat both sides of the pretzel…only the front. That is plenty of “sugar” and that way it isn't too messy to hold and eat. Once the front is coated lay it down on a piece of wax paper or parchment paper.
Step Three…Quickly, before the candy coating dries…sprinkle on your Valentine sprinkles. You may have some red sprinkles left over from Christmas…those would work too! I bought a package of sprinkles at Target and it had several different types of Valentine sprinkles in one jar! Here are some really adorable Valentine sprinkles I found on amazon for great prices!
Now just allow these to dry really well and you are set. You can put them in an airtight container and they will be great for days. These could go into cute little individual bags for a school party or can be put on a pretty platter to take to work and share with your colleagues. These decorated Valentine Pretzels will be a hit with anyone you share them with!

These are so adorable! I like that you only dip one side because every time I’ve made covered pretzels, they smudge or dry weird or just get really messy. Three steps though? Easy peasy! Thanks for sharing!!
these are so cute for V-Day! What a fun, delicious way to celebrate because let’s be honest, V-Day is more about cute stuff than love haha.

Very cute! We usually do the pretzel rods but I love these as they also kind of look like a heart! Thanks for sharing.
I love the combination of sweet and salty, and these are so darn cute! :] I wonder if plain ol’ white chocolate chips would work well for this? I have a bunch I want to use up before I go out and spend money, har har.
I am not sure if the white chips would harden up enough…you will have to let me know if it works!
These look so good! I will have to wait until next year to make them, though! Both my tweens have braces on right now, and aren’t allowed to eat pretzels!
I have one getting braces next week!
