WW MEATLOAF RECIPE FOR FREESTYLE
I love recipes that are delicious and contain simple substitutions. This WW meatloaf recipe is simple and very similar to traditional meatloaf.
Ground turkey is substituted for ground beef and saves many points. There are extra veggies in the meatloaf. The veggies bring flavor to the recipe and also help keep it moist.
I used sugar-free ketchup to help keep the points lower and the sugar content lower. This is optional, but be sure to count the points if you change to regular ketchup. I have a delicious homemade sugar-free ketchup recipe you need to check out!
This Weight Watchers Meatloaf is ZERO points per slice on the blue and purple myWW plans!! This is 2 points per slice on the green myWW plan.
On the current WeightWatchers Program (2023), it is 0 points per serving.

HOW TO MAKE WW MEATLOAF
This meatloaf mixture can be made up the day before and refrigerated until you are ready to bake it!
STEP ONE: PREPARE VEGGIES & OVEN
The first step is to finely dice the carrots, celery, onion, and garlic. I like mine to be diced VERY FINELY so that the meatloaf is not chunky.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
STEP TWO: COOK VEGGIES
Take a small saute pan and place it on the stove over medium heat. Spray the pan with the nonstick cooking spray
and add the diced carrots, celery, onion, and garlic. Lightly salt and pepper the vegetables in the pan.
Saute the veggies for about 5 minutes or until the veggies are soft. Set aside and allow to cool.
STEP THREE: MAKE MEATLOAF MIXTURE
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, basil, oregano, cooled veggies, breadcrumbs, 2 tablespoons ketchup, egg, and salt and pepper to taste.
Mix these ingredients well by hand or using a stand mixer with the dough hook.
STEP FOUR: MAKE LOAF
It is time to line a baking dish with parchment paper.
Place the meatloaf mixture on the parchment paper and use your hands to form a loaf shape.
Put the remaining three tablespoons of sugar-free ketchup on top of the loaf and spread to cover the top.
STEP FIVE: BAKE
Bake the meatloaf for about 60 minutes or until cooked through.
Allow it to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Be sure to refrigerate any leftovers.

I don’t understand how this can be zero points when there’s bread crumbs in it
Because when you divide something between the number of servings it comes out to zero. That small amount of bread crumbs is barely any points.
i put this into the WW calculator and the ketchup made it come out to 1 point per serving. Still a good deal for meatloaf but just wanted to share its not 0 points.
It will depend on the brand of ketchup you use…this recipe clearly says that sugar-free ketchup was used. Yes if you use regular ketchup it will change the points value.
