IS THIS DIP SERVED COLD OR HOT?

The unique flavor profiles and mouthfeel of hot and cold dips make them suitable choices for a range of events and tastes. Baked to a bubbly perfection in the oven, hot dip has a soothing warmth that makes it a great option for chilly weather or small get-togethers.

Oven heat melts the cheeses, combining them with the creamy filling and corn kernels to create a rich, oozy texture. Hot dipping sauce is a flavorful and comforting treat that goes well with chips, bread, or crackers. It is a crowd favorite.

On the other hand, cold dip is a tasty and fresh take on the traditional appetizer. It is perfect for a warm weather or casual social gatherings. A chilled version of this dip has a creamy texture that goes well with crunchy vegetable crudité or crispy chips.

When the flavors are cold, they combine together to create a savory and tangy blend. The refreshing coolness of cold corn dip is ideal for summertime picnics, poolside munchies, or as an appetizer at a party. It really depends on your preference but this recipe will be done as a chilled dip.

This is great for making the day before a party…it keeps very well in the refrigerator.

  1. Good choice making it spicier – in my books, the spicier the better! I’ve never heard of corn dip! My first reaction is that it sounds strange, but the more I think about it the more I think it will be delicious! I am going to add this to my ‘must try’ list 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

  2. Even though I love corn, I have not tried out corn dip for myself. I’ll definitely be trying this out as soon as I can so I have something to eat while I binge on Netflix.
