Summer time is almost here and beach color printables are the perfect way to kick off summer! I love free printable color pages to keep my daughter busy over the slow summer months.

These beach color printables will get kids in the mood for summer. If you have a beach trip planned these are PERFECT to get them excited.

I know that some beach vacations end up having quite a bit of down time indoors and kids need to be kept busy. We have had some beach trips where someone ends up sunburned and can't spend as much time outdoors. 🙁

We were always glad to have a bag of activity ideas with us!

BEACH PARTY IDEAS

Beach color pages are also a great activity for a beach themed party…especially if it is a kid party.

I love beach themed parties with decorations and all! In my former days of being a PTO president we had several large beach/tropical themed events and they were always very popular!

Here are some fun beach party food ideas:

Octopus Cupcakes are adorable and fun to make with kids.
Making a Jello Beach Dessert is great for feeding a crowd and will impress guests too.
Flip Flop Sandwiches are sure to be a hit especially with the girls in the group.
The boys at the party will love a watermelon shark center piece!

No party is complete without games and activities. After the kids finish the beach coloring pages they can start on these fun ideas:

Taking turns getting their picture taken in a shark photo prop will be fun for all the kids.
Blow up some inflatable octopus and have kids try to throw rings around their arms or head.
The kids can always put on grass skirts and have a hula competition!
You can do some coconut bowling if you have time.
