Have any Mickey Mouse lovers at your house? I definitely do…there is ME and there is my 3-year-old for sure! So why not make an adorable DIY Mickey Mouse Christmas Ornament for the tree? It is EASY to make and super cute. Your kids (and you, lol) will love it.
Supplies Needed for DIY Mickey Mouse Christmas Ornament
– Clear Elmers Glue, 1-2 tsp.
– Water, 1 tsp.
– Paint Brushes
How to Make DIY Mickey Mouse Christmas Ornament
First remove the top from the glass ornament and pour in 1-2 tsp. of clear glue and 1 tsp. of water.
Next add in the red glitter and recap the ornament. Swirl the glitter around until it fully covers the bottom half of the ornament.
Remove the cap and allow the ornament to air dry. Yes…this step requires patience, lol.
Once the glue is dried recap the ornament and paint the top half of the ornament black. It may take a couple of coats to get a nice solid black. I allowed each coat to dry a little bit in between. When the black part is done, let it dry.
Create two white ovals with paint right below the line of black/red on the red side and allow the white ovals to dry.
Outline the white ovals with the gold paint pen and allow to dry.
Now all you have to do is hang this cute DIY Mickey Mouse Christmas Ornament on the tree and ENJOY!
