WHAT IS MONKEY BREAD?
I grew up on monkey bread! My mom made is every fall when we would have chili. It is actually a tradition for our family to eat chili and monkey bread every year on Halloween night after trick or treating.
Monkey bread is basically a baked dessert that uses a dough or bread and lots of cinnamon, sugar and butter to create a sweet yummy glaze over the bread dough.
It is a no-fail type of recipe and those are the kinds I like best!

HOW TO MAKE CANDY BAR MONKEY BREAD
If you have made monkey bread in the past this recipe will be a breeze. It has the same basic steps and adds in CANDY! Yum!
STEP ONE: MELT BUTTER
Start off by placing the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and melting the butter in the microwave.
Add the light brown sugar to the bowl of butter.
Stir to combine the brown sugar and butter. You will have a thick syrup-like mixture.
Spoon 1 tablespoon into the bottom of each ramekin.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
STEP TWO: COAT ROLLS
Take another small bowl and combine the white sugar and the cinnamon and stir to combine.
Grab the package of King's Hawaiian Original Dinner Rolls and tear each roll into small pieces. I got about 5-6 pieces from each roll.
Put the pieces in the bowl of cinnamon and sugar and stir them around to coat.
Place the coated bits of roll into the ramekins.
I put the pieces of 3 rolls into each ramekin. One package of rolls works perfectly for 4 ramekins.
STEP THREE: ADD CANDY
Take the mini nutty chocolate candy bars and chop them into small pieces.
Add pieces of the candy bars to the top of each filled ramekin. I used one mini candy bar per ramekin, but there is no limit to how much or what kind of candy you use.
Now drizzle 1 tablespoon of the butter and brown sugar syrup on top.
STEP FOUR: BAKE
Place the filled ramekins onto a baking sheet. This will prevent any messes in your oven if some of the syrup drips over the side of a ramekin.
Bake the Candy Bar Monkey Bread ramekins for about 15 minutes.
Serve warm!
