Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bread
Making quick bread is the perfect way for my kids to help me do some baking. These loaves of Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bread will make wonderful gifts for neighbors and friends….if they last that long! 😆
It is amazing how some pretty ribbon can make a loaf of homemade bread such a nice surprise for someone you care about.
How to Make Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bread
I love that this bread has a limited amount of ingredients. As a busy mom the fewer ingredients I have to get out of the cabinet the better.
Start off by preheating the oven to 350° F.
Next I will prepare my loaf pans. It is really important to grease loaf pans especially with sweet breads. The bread WILL stick if you skip this step!
I grabbed the new Land O Lakes® Soft Squeeze™ Spread at Dillons to use for buttering the loaf pans. It is so easy to squeeze into the pan and it brings added flavor to the bread because it is made with real butter.
Butter the bottom and about 1/2 way up the sides of the loaf pans.
Now you will beat the eggs, sugar and sour cream together in a mixing bowl. This works best with a stand mixer or hand mixer. Once these ingredients are combined and smooth you can add the peanut butter. Continue to beat the ingredients until the peanut butter is incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
Next begin adding the flour a little at a time. Continue mixing the ingredients while you are adding the flour.
It is time to fold the chocolate chips into the batter.
Pour the batter into your mini loaf pans filling them about 3/4 of the way full.
Place the loaf pans in the oven and bake for about 25-35 minutes or until the bread is done in the center and the tops start to brown. You can check to see if the center is done with a toothpick.
There Is No Other Way to Eat Sweet Bread
I have never been able to gift ALL the bread I make. There has to be at least one loaf reserved for my house!
Slicing a piece of peanut butter chocolate chip bread and then putting a dollop of Land O Lakes® Soft Squeeze™ Spread on top is AMAZING!
There will be a line in the kitchen within minutes when the rest of my family sees my plate!!! The good news for me is the Land O Lakes® Soft Squeeze™ Spread squeezes easily, stays clean and helps reduce the mess in the kitchen.
I always have to laugh when I find a new product I love and now can't believe I lived without it! That is the very feeling I get when I grab the Land O Lakes® Soft Squeeze™ Spread out of the refrigerator. It is so easy for me to use and actually does save me some time in the kitchen.
Will You Gift It or Eat It Yourself?
Do you plan to gift this peanut butter chocolate chip bread or will you be eating it yourself? It is a hard choice! 🙂
