HOW TO MAKE TACO SOUP IN THE CROCKPOT
I love coming home to the smell of dinner already done. Using a crockpot is one of the best ways to experience this pleasure!
STEP ONE: BROWN GROUND BEEF
First you need to brown your ground beef and drain off any excess grease.
STEP TWO: ADD INGREDIENTS TO CROCKPOT
This recipe makes a big pot…I used my 7 quart crock pot! Add all of the listed ingredients to the crockpot and stir. I don't always add the tomato sauce…if I have some on hand I will use it…if not…it doesn't make a big difference to me.
STEP THREE: COOK
Cook on low for 5-7 hours.
Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream and tortilla chips for the perfect meal!
TACO SOUP CROCKPOT RECIPE
I LOVE eating taco soup as a leftover…it is really good the next day or two or three! You can add more heat to this recipe by using hot chili beans and hot diced tomatoes and green chilies!
If you don't want to make this in the crock pot…just follow the same instructions for the stove top. You will just need to heat it through and make sure your corn gets cooked…or you could use canned corn instead!
