CAN I MAKE THIS ON THE STOVE TOP?

Yes, this is absolutely something you can do. There will be a bit of difference with the preparation and cooking but it will be mostly the same. It will be faster, that is true. However, when it is done in a crock pot, there are definitely benefits to it.

Cooking it in a slow cooker will surely be more convenient rather than making it on the stove top. This would also allow the flavors to slowly blend together and enhance the flavor of the soup. Plus, crock pots are low maintenance. No need to stir and watch over the pot. I’m sure you’ll love that!

To intensify its flavors and improve the overall satisfaction of the meal, taco soup goes well with a wide range of side dishes and toppings. These are some fantastic choices to go with this recipe:

1. Cornbread

The spices of the soup are made better by sweet or savory cornbread.

2. Quesadillas

Simple quesadillas with cheese, or ones stuffed with chicken or vegetables, can make a delicious side dish.

3. Guacamole

A dollop of guacamole or fresh avocado slices offer healthful fats and smoothness.

4. Mexican Rice

The dish can be made more filling with a side of aromatic Mexican rice.
