Smoothies are so popular right now and it is no wonder why! They are DELICIOUS and fun to make. There are endless ways to customize a smoothie. My kids are constantly creating their own smoothie recipes too. One of my daughter's favorite flavors is a easy peanut butter banana smoothie. It is a hit with everyone at our house.

Easy Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
I love using cow's milk for our smoothies. It is such a good way to get protein into our diet. There are 8 grams of protein per glass…WOW! I would have to drink 8 cups of almond milk to match the protein in just one cup of cow's milk!!
I firmly believe that there is more to nutrition than just counting calories. We like to make each calorie count at our house. I find that dairy products are a great way to get high quality calories. Dairy foods are packed with nine essential nutrients. That makes them a powerful, nutritious choice!
How to Make a Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
1 large ripe frozen bananas
2-3 tablespoons of powdered peanut butter (like PB2 or PBFit)
3/4 to 1 cup of cow's milk
Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth! You can always add more frozen banana to make the smoothie thicker. If you want it a little sweeter just add a little bit of natural sweetener before you blend it up.
I think a 3 ingredient smoothie recipe is the best kind! It is super quick and easy to make and so good!! This protein-packed, nutritious smoothie will please even the pickiest eater! My kids love smoothies for breakfast and for after-school snacks!
