School is starting soon and that will mean team sports start back up. I have one child playing tennis. It will be her second year to play and her first year to really compete in matches! I know some motivational tennis snack tags will boost her attitude and I can provide her with the perfect snack before practice!
Motivational Tennis Snack Tags
Tennis is still a new sport for our family. We have always enjoyed going to the courts and playing….I mean trying to play, LOL. The school district we were previously in didn't offer tennis as a competitive sport. When we moved 2 years ago and my daughter saw that she could go out for tennis she was really excited.
Playing 6th grade tennis was basically just for the practice of it all. This year in 7th grade tennis she will have regular matches. That gets my creative juices flowing!!
Nutritious Snacks for the Team
Tennis may not involve running miles or dribbling down a court, but it is a very active game. It amazes me how much effort and endurance is needed to play a hard game of tennis.
I was thinking about the perfect snacks for on-the-go to help fuel the team before practices or games. While cruising the aisles at Walmart I noticed the Dannon® Danimals® Smoothie Drinks Value Pack, Strawberry Explosion/Cotton Candy. I already had an idea to make cute motivational tennis tags and they will work perfectly with these smoothies! I keep them refrigerated until I am ready to head to practice and hand them out!
I also grabbed some Dannon® Danimals® Squeezables Strawberry Explosion Lowfat Yogurt to use for away matches. These can be frozen beforehand and the pouches will be just right when we get to the match.
As a sports mom I love that Dannon® Danimals® are a good source of Vitamin D and Calcium. There are no artificial flavors and guess what….kids LOVE the taste!
How to Make Motivational Tennis Snack Tags
It is so easy to give your child a little motivational BOOST with these free printable motivational tags. These are all tennis themed and are perfect for your child or the whole team.
All you have to do is print off the tags on white cardstock.
Use a paper trimmer or scissors and cut the tags apart.
Take a hole punch and punch a circle out in the upper left corner of each tag.
Grab some curling ribbon and cut about 6-8 inches. Attach the tag to the top of the Danimals® pouch or smoothie and tie in a knot.
I like to put the snacks in a cute basket and take it down to the courts before practice!
