I will admit that the name, Gumbo Burgers, may not sound very appetizing. REMEMBER….there is more to a name then meets the eye, LOL! These quick and easy burgers are actually really tasty that even my kids eat them. It is a meal you can put on the table in minutes and a great way to use leftover ground beef or turkey meat.

Gumbo Burgers Are A Quick Weeknight Meal Idea
These 5 Ingredient Gumbo Burgers are really tasty and I can honestly say there wasn't even a spoonful leftover at our house. This recipe is PERFECT for a busy weeknight dinner when you have a time crunch.
I like to brown up a lot of ground beef at once and put it in the freezer in one pound bags. This helps so much in making quick meals. You can read my guest post over at My Stay At Home Adventures about How I Save Time and Money in the Kitchen!
Having my ground beef already browned meant this meal only took about 5 minutes to make!! YES, YES, YES to quick and easy!!
I originally found this recipe years ago from Campbell's Kitchen. I modified it slightly to make it a little friendlier for my family and it turned out great!!
Ingredients Needed for 5 Ingredient Gumbo Burgers
1 pound ground beef browned and grease drained off
1 can (10 3/4 ounce) Campbell's Condensed Chicken Gumbo Soup
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
Hamburger Buns
How to Make 5 Ingredient Gumbo Burgers
First you need to brown your ground beef in a skillet. Drain off any excess fat and grease from the meat when it is done browning.
Next you will add the can of chicken gumbo soup, black pepper and mustard to the pan.
Stir all ingredients together and turn your burner to medium heat.
Heat the mixture up and you are ready to put it on a bun and eat up!
This mixture made just enough for 8 buns!
