I don't know about you, but there are nights when I just don't want to cook. Sometimes we are heading out to a picnic or to the zoo and want to take sandwiches along to eat. The sandwich is such a convenient meal, but it can get so boring! This sandwich spread will help boring be delicious and it won't take a lot of extra work!
Ingredients Needed for Zippy Sandwich Spread
1/4 cup softened butter
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
How to Make Zippy Sandwich Spread
Place all ingredients into a small bowl and stir to combine.
Once ingredients are mixed well you can spread this onto any kind of sandwich bread for a tasty complement to your sandwich.
Keep any leftover spread refrigerated.
This spread isn't spicy even though it has the red pepper. It just adds a great flavor dimension to the spread. You can always leave it out though if you have really sensitive eaters! If you like spice you can increase the amount of ground red pepper for even more of a kick!!
