WHAT KIND OF GNOCCHI CAN I USE?
A gnocchi can be bought at almost any grocery store. There are 3 kinds of the classic gnocchi in the store. This might help you pick which one to buy the next time you go grocery shopping. Here are the different kinds of gnocchi:
SHELF-STABLE
Gnocchi that are shelf-stable can be kept until they are opened in your kitchen cabinet or pantry. In accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, they might have to be used within a specific time frame after being opened and refrigerated. These gnocchi store well for months on end and are easy to preserve for extended periods of time without going bad.
REFRIGERATED
As opposed to shelf-stable gnocchi, refrigerated gnocchi have a shorter lifespan and need to be refrigerated constantly. Fresher tasting and texture make them more popular. Use them within a few days of purchase or before the expiration date on the package.
FROZEN
Compared to fresh ones, frozen gnocchi are kept frozen to increase their shelf life. They may be stored in the freezer for a long time and provide the advantage of further preservation. Usually frozen gnocchi needs to be thawed but for this recipe, there is no need to do that.
TIPS FOR THE CRISPIEST AIR FRYER GNOCCHI
There are certain methods and factors to keep in mind when cooking air fryer gnocchi if you want the crispiest results. To get the best outcomes, consider the following tips:
Single Layer
Do not overcrowd the basket because air circulation is needed to make the gnocchi crispy.
Shake Basket
You can shake the basket once in awhile. This will ensure that every side of the gnocchi will be cooked to crispiness.
Serve Immediately
After it is removed from the air fryer, it is best to eat this right away.
HOW TO STORE LEFTOVER GNOCCHI
It is easy to store leftover air fryer gnocchi. Just let it cool down and then transfer to an airtight container. Be sure to seal it tightly. You can store this for 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator. When you are ready to eat the gnocchi again, just heat it up in the air fryer. This will make it crispy again.
