HOW TO MAKE WEIGHT WATCHERS CRAB CAKES AND DIPPING SAUCE

These are so easy to make! I usually double the recipe because crab cakes won't last at my house!

STEP ONE: MIX INGREDIENTS

Start off by draining the lump crab meat.  Be sure to pick through the crab meat for any stray crab shells! Those are NO fun to swallow!!

Grab a large bowl and add the drained crab meat, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, breadcrumbs, and parsley. Mix these ingredients together, so they are well combined.

Now add the beaten egg and mix it into the crab mixture until well combined.

You may be tempted to add salt to this mixture, but I will tell you not to do it! The Old Bay seasoning adds plenty of salt and flavor to the mix.

STEP TWO: CHILL

Cover your large bowl and place it in the refrigerator to chill for about 30 minutes. This step will make the rest of the process easier!

STEP THREE: MAKE CAKES

Once the crab cake mixture is chilled, remove it from the refrigerator.

Form the mixture into six equal patties. Each patty will be about 1/4 cup of the mixture.

STEP FOUR: MAKE DIPPING SAUCE

While the crab mixture is chilling, it is a great time to whip up the dipping sauce.

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and use a whisk to mix well.

Keep the dipping sauce refrigerated until ready to eat.

STEP FIVE: COOK CAKES

Take a nonstick skillet and spray it with non-stick cooking spray. Turn the burner on to medium heat. Place the crab cakes into the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve hot with dipping sauce.
