Winter is a time of year when many people have extra needs. One big need is for warmth! Now is the time to start thinking about how to help those less fortunate who may need items to keep them warm during the cold months. I am making a Snowman Glove Craft to help layer on the love during these frigid months!

One Warm Coat
One Warm Coat is a non-profit organization that helps donate free coats to people in need. When I was at Walmart I was so excited to see that Coca-Cola is supporting One Warm Coat in their mission to donate half a million free coats this holiday season!
I know that if someone needs a coat they probably also need gloves! Giving a pair of gloves would be fine…but the crafty person inside me always wants to make things cute, LOL! So I decided I could layer on the love by donating gloves to go with the coats and make the gloves super cute by making a Snowman Glove Craft.
Snowman Glove Craft Supplies
Regular size packages of microwave popcorn
Pair of Gloves
Tape or Adhesive
Ribbon
Felt or material to make a scarf
Hot glue gun/glue stick
Button
How to Make a Snowman Glove Craft
First you need to print off your snowman face. Just click HERE to download and print.
Next you will wrap it around your package of microwave popcorn and tape on the back. Cut off the extra paper from the top and bottom.
Place the glove on top of the popcorn package and pull down a little so it stays in place.
Tie a ribbon midway around the glove, under the finger holes to form a hat.
Take a length of material or felt about a foot long and position around the lower part of the popcorn package so that it looks like a scarf. Glue the scarf down with a little hot glue.
Add a button to the scarf with hot glue for added bling!
Give it to someone in need!
How Can You Help This Holiday Season?
What are you doing with your family this year to help others? Are you taking the challenge from Coca-Cola to continue the giving? Be sure to let others know how you are giving back this season by using the hashtag #LayerOnLove. Seeing other people's good deeds can INSPIRE someone to make a difference themselves! Layer on the love to those around you!!
We are going to layer on love by making the Snowman Glove Craft and giving them out to our local coat drive along with coats, hats and scarves. Let's come together and inspire each other to donate to One Warm Coat on Coke.com/LayerOnLove. Just think….collectively we could help put a coat on one million people in need this winter!!!

This idea is so adorable!!! 😀 I’m totally going to do it! It’s an amazing way to give to those in need, but it’s also the perfect neighbor gift. We just moved in a few months ago and I was trying to think of a fun, sweet, and inexpensive gift that would be great for everyone and I think this will be just perfect!
Instead of popcorn why not us a pair of Socks and then wrap the face around the pair of socks this way they have socks and mittens most homeless people don’t have a place to pop popcorn just a suggestion
Gail, that is a great idea! I should have mentioned that lots of things would work instead of popcorn! Even a book would work!! Thanks for stopping by!
Great idea, Sis…you are a chip off the old block.
