Guess what…it seems early, but Valentine's Day will be here before you know it! We don't do much at our house for Valentine's Day, but as long as I have a child in elementary school I know that there will be some Valentine's to hand out! I created this adorable, Will You Be My Mane Squeeze Valentine and wanted to share it with you!
It is definitely easy and perfectly OK to buy store-bought Valentines. I have bought many, many, many store-bought Valentines over the years! If I plan ahead enough though…some years I will create a cute Valentine at home that we can print off and add a piece of candy to…and we will go that route!
I love when cards use a “play” on words and thought this play on the word MANE was really a cute idea! I used my favorite photo editing software, Picmonkey to make this little Valentine! I found the sweet horse image over at My Cute Graphics. This is a great site for finding free graphics to use in scrapbooking, classrooms, etc!
I thought a red licorice rope was the perfect pair for this Valentine….ropes…horses…they go together perfectly! You can usually find this type of candy in individual packs during Valentine's Day!

When I print it off at home my printer gives me the option to print multiple per page. You can just decide how many you want and what size and feel free to print as many as you want!
If you would like another idea, this Personalized Photo Valentine is so cute and I walk you through how to make the whole thing! It was really fun to make and it is perfect for a “candy free” Valentine if that is something you desire!
What are your favorite Valentines? Do you make them or buy them? Do you usually give candy out with your Valentines too?
