I don’t think a party if complete without chips and dip. I didn’t want to leave out a great dip recipe for the Five Days of Football Food series! This Spicy Sausage Dip is one of my favorite dips! I am partial to warm dips that involve tortilla chips. If you can throw the ingredients into your crock pot and be done…even better!
This Slow Cooker Spicy Sausage Dip is a great alternative to traditional Ro-Tel dip. Don’t get me wrong…I love Ro-Tel dip….my brother brings it to a lot of family functions…and I always eat it!
I like to try out new things though and wanted to make something similar to Ro-Tel, but with a twist! This sausage dip turned out great!
I don’t want the term “spicy” to scare you off….it isn’t hot! My two-year old ate this without flinching just a few days ago! 🙂 I even used spicy sausage in mine…and it still wasn’t too hot!
This is very easy to double or triple if you need a big batch.
