Spicy Sausage DipI don't think a party if complete without chips and dip.  I didn't want to leave out a great dip recipe for the Five Days of Football Food series!   This Spicy Sausage Dip is one of my favorite dips!  I am partial to warm dips that involve tortilla chips.  If you can throw the ingredients into your crock pot and be done…even better!

This Slow Cooker Spicy Sausage Dip is a great alternative to traditional Ro-Tel dip.  Don't get me wrong…I love Ro-Tel dip….my brother brings it to a lot of family functions…and I always eat it!

I like to try out new things though and wanted to make something similar to Ro-Tel, but with a twist!  This sausage dip turned out great!

I don't want the term “spicy” to scare you off….it isn't hot!  My two-year old ate this without flinching just a few days ago!  🙂  I even used spicy sausage in mine…and it still wasn't too hot!

This is very easy to double or triple if you need a big batch.

  1. I like all things spicy so I know this dip would be a hit at my house and a welcome addition to our game day fun. I usually make the Rotel one (don’t we all?) but I’m going to try yours. Looks delish!

  2. That looks really yummy! All of the males in our house are total spice fiends, but I’m not really – but this looks like it would be easily adjustable with the addition of some hot sauce. Thanks so much for sharing!

  3. I think its tradition to have chips and dip in a party since my husband always ask if I bought it we have party at home. I love slow cooker and make my life easier.

  4. Oh my! This sounds like an amazing dish! 🙂 This would be so perfect for a football game 🙂 Yum! I will definitely be pinning this for later. I love how easy it looks to make, too!
