IS FROZEN FRUIT AS GOOD AS FRESH FRUIT?
This recipe calls for frozen and fresh blueberries. I hear the question asked a lot if frozen fruits and veggies are as good as fresh.
There have been a lot of studies done and it typically always shows that frozen is just as good as fresh when it comes to fruit and vegetables.
The reason frozen is great is that the vegetables and fruits are frozen at their peak ripeness. This is when they are the absolute healthiest and full of nutrients.
Fresh fruit isn't always picked at the right time and we can be missing out on some important nutrients.
Frozen fruits and vegetables can be very handy especially when certain foods aren't in season and are high priced and lower quality.

HOW TO MAKE BLUEBERRY FLUFF DESSERT
I love recipes I can throw together quickly and the day before. Since this recipe has to be in the freezer for a while it is great to make the day before it is needed.
STEP ONE: BLEND
Start off by adding the partially thawed frozen blueberries to a blender with the water.
Blend until they are smooth.
STEP TWO: ADD WHIPPED TOPPING
Now pour the blended blueberries into a large bowl.
Add the lite whipped topping (like Cool Whip) to the bowl and stir to combine until the mixture is smooth.
Stir in 3/4 cup of the fresh blueberries.
STEP THREE: ADD TO PAN
Take a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan and line it with foil. This will make removing the dessert later.
Pour the blueberry mixture into the loaf pan.
Sprinkle the remaining fresh blueberries on the top of the mixture.
STEP FOUR: FREEZE
Place the loaf pan in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
When you are ready to serve the dessert remove it from the pan and slice it into 1-inch slices.
