SHOULD YOU EAT SNACKS ON WW?
Some people stop eating snacks when they are want to lose weight. If you are wondering whether you should eat snacks on WW the answer is, probably!
Snacks are not inherently bad unless you sit around eating potato chips and twinkies all the time.
The whole point of eating a snack is to keep your body energized between meals. When you are working on losing weight a snack can keep you from overeating at lunch or dinner time because you aren't starving.
The main reason a person would choose to not eat a mid-morning snack or late afternoon snack is that you aren't hungry. Another reason would be that you have trouble limiting a snack to just a snack and not a whole meal at snack time.
One time I like to make sure to eat an afternoon snack is if I am going out to dinner. This will help me not eat too much when dining out.
SNACKING TIPS FOR REAL PEOPLE
Snack time is a great time to get more servings of fruits and vegetables into our daily diets. By eating fruits and veggies at snack time it will help you keep the snacking points lower.
One big snacking tip is to plan out what you will snack on the night before. Last-minute snacking can lead to overindulgence and snacking on the wrong kinds of foods.
Try adding a protein at snack time to keep that full feeling for longer.
Remember if you don't track it you shouldn't eat it!

- Nonfat Greek Yogurt with granola
- Fresh fruit and whipped topping
- Nonfat cottage cheese with some sliced fresh fruit
- A light Babybel cheese with some fresh broccoli florets
- Hummus with slices of bell pepper
