COMMON OUTDOOR LIGHTING ISSUE
Many people have the same problem with outdoor lighting. There are no outlets available to plug in traditional strands of lights.
This can result in very dark outdoor areas. We have an outdoor space that is very dark but doesn't have any conveniently located outlets.
Years ago we tried installing a motion detector light in this space. This was not a solution for us. The light was getting triggered by insects, leaves blowing by and more. It was going on and off all night long.
I know we haven't been the only people struggling to bring some soft light to their outdoor areas without hiring an electrician.
Luckily I found a simple solution! A big thanks to Brightology for sponsoring this post and providing me with solar lights to try. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. Click this link to save 15% off Brightology today!

A SIMPLE OUTDOOR LIGHTING SOLUTION
I knew all about solar lights and have used them to line the edges of my flower gardens for years. The soft light they give off is soothing and beautiful.
It was only recently that I was introduced to the great variety of solar lighting available.
Brightology is a collection of high-quality solar-paneled home lighting appliances that will transform your outdoor living areas.

You will love the way your home and pathways light up. These long-lasting lights are all powered with solar energy so there is no increase in the electric bill.
The lights are weather-resistant and quick and easy to install. Nothing to plug in, no wires…just simple solar light!

A BRIGHTER PATIO AREA
Last year we had a concrete patio area poured next to our swim spa. A wooden privacy fence was put up too.
There is no lighting in this section of our back yard and at night it is very dark. We use the spa at night and I worry about someone tripping in the dark.
We decided to install Solarize solar lights. These are technically solar gutter lights, but I loved the style of the light and knew we could make them work on our fence.

These lights have super-efficient solar panels that store the sun's energy during the day. They light up at night for up to 10 hours with a warm light.
Our patio area is well-lit at night now and is a much safer space for evening relaxation.

I love this idea! I was considering adding string lights to my fence and patio, but it seems like such a hassle to hang them and untangle them. Your solar lights seem like a much easier and realistic solution! How do you like your wood fence? I’m having a contractor install a new fence in my yard in a few weeks, but I’m still debating between getting a wood fence or a composite fence.
